After School Civics Education

Our program delivers an engaging and structured civics curriculum tailored for students in grades 4-6. Lessons focus on U.S. government, the Constitution, and the role of citizens in a democracy. Through interactive discussions and case studies, students develop a strong foundation in civic knowledge and responsibilities.

International Democracy Day & Experience

Our program celebrates International Democracy Day with special events and immersive learning. As a part of our mission to engage students with both comprehensive knowledge and formative experiences, select students will travel with Star Spangled Scholars to Greece and Taiwan to explore democratic systems abroad, Being two sitets at the center of the global and timeless discussion of democracy, students will gain firsthand insights into their governance models and civic institutions. During these trips, students will meet with their peers, engage in cultural exchanges, and participate in discussions on the global importance of democracy and civic participation.

Competitions & Public Speaking

To build confidence and reinforce learning, students engage in mock Civics Bee competitions and public speaking exercises. They learn to articulate ideas effectively, engage in debates, and present policy solutions. These experiences enhance critical thinking and prepare students for active civic participation.

Community Engagement & Service Learning

Students participate in hands-on community service projects that reinforce civic responsibility. Activities include voter registration drives, attending local government meetings, and organizing civic awareness campaigns. These experiences connect classroom learning to real-world impact, fostering a sense of community involvement.

The Star Spangled Scholars program offers a transformative educational experience that empowers students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to become engaged citizens.
