After School Programs
Students participate in engaging after-school civics lessons that cover U.S., state, & local government, history, and the Constitution. These sessions, led by volunteers from local college and university political science departments, provide students with a strong foundation in democratic principles. The structured curriculum ensures students develop a clear understanding of how government functions, the rights and responsibilities of citizens, and the importance of civic engagement.
Our after-school program is built to prepare students for life in a democratic society while maintaining a fun and engaging experience. We are driven by the idea that civic participation—and the knowledge and skills required—can be both an exciting privilege and a powerful responsibility.
